All the cool kids are buying it

My love of space and terrible jokes meant I had no choice but to buy this Threadless shirt after it was released today.

I had no choice? What am I talking about?

Materialism leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth, and not because I'm trying to eat those five cent coins that were silver, originally, about twenty years ago, but now they're kinda brown and there's a bit of goo near the echidna but you aren't sure and oh god it came off on your finger this is horrible you are going to give this to the first cashier you see no matter what the price is because OH GOD GET THIS DISGUSTING STUFF AWAY FROM ME IT SMELLS LIKE THE TIN MAN'S SOCKS.

My biggest problem stepping back from materialism is that when I see something beautiful, I want to own part of it. Make it a part of my life.

I don't think anyone can really own beauty, but it doesn't stop us from trying.

I don't need any more shirts. I kinda want to save up for my trip to Japan. And a BeBook. I should probably unsubscribe from the Threadless newsletter then. Yep.

Watch me do that right now.

Right now.

Any minute now.

Damn you, seductive screen-printed fripperies.
