Words to live by
Right. So, I’ve decided to test out Posterous by using it as my daily writing space, shifting the burden away from my main website. Although when I write an article for my main website or another blog, I’ll use that as my post for the day rather than writing here as well.
The goal is to write an article a day, no matter how short, for at least a year. The point? To get over my perfectionism. And to do it publicly so that, even if it is only in my head, others can take me to task when I slack off.
The fact that I can use Posterous for sharing podcasts is also intriguing… perhaps I’ll start posting audio files of interesting science talks here at work.
The image at the top of this post has been my desktop background for over two years at work. The words in this image are important to me because I have a fascination with, well, everything, and I multi-task to extremes. I want to slow down, and explore the smaller things in more depth than I am accustomed to. Perhaps I’ll do that with these writings as well.
